so just the other week i stumbled into annie sez for my first time. i had low expectations and was pleasantly surprised, to say the very least. i had barely a concept of what genre i was working in upon my entrance, but what i found inside was a good-sized, without being overwhelming, well-organized, fairly on-trend selection of mostly american mid-level designers. what i came away with: a pair of seven jeans, two cashmere sweaters (that were buy one, get the second 50% off), a marc by marc jacobs skirt (that i have already worn 3 times) and a fabulous pair of pour la victoire heels. my total bill - under $400. a shopping triumph!
